We’re part of a nationwide effort to improve pediatric surgical care. Our surgical centers in Deptford and Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware have been verified as a level 1 Children’s Surgery Center by the American College of Surgeons Children’s Surgery Verification Quality Improvement Program.
We use the least invasive surgical techniques possible. We perform minimally invasive surgery with smaller incisions when we can, because it means kids heal faster, go home more quickly, and have less pain and discomfort. We also use robotic-assisted surgery at some locations.
